Building Resilience In Difficult Times

I’ve had my website for a while now and at the time I was ready to add a blog section, I had to stop…

And whilst I would love to say it was because I chose to live off the land and switch off my wifi, I can’t. The cold hard truth is my Nan died and I was heartbroken. 

So, I downed tools, lessened the load, allowed myself time to grieve and build up my resilience to get back working full-time. So, here I am. New blog section and a shiny first blog. 

And now I’ve made my comeback (I'm thinking of this like Cher with one of her come back tours - but in blog form - and without the black thonged leotard!) and I know I’m late, but I’m still going to ask, how the ruddy hell are you?

You have been dealing with a lot from pandemic anxiety, lockdowns, tier systems, Joe Wick’s PE classes, rainbow pictures 🌈 , clapping on a Thursday, going back to work, not going back to work, staying home, not staying home, no haircuts 💇 ( I cut my fringe three times 😬), shops shutting...

...2020 sure has been a journey and unfortunately, it isn't stopping anytime soon.

And before we go any further, if you have lost anyone during this time then I'd like to extend my heartfelt condolences. I’m really sorry, there are no words, and yes it's true what they say, 2020 really does suck. 

During my heartbreak and healing from my Nan’s passing, moving forward, cutting my own fringe and creating my new normal, I relied on my coaching tools to get me through - especially the tools for resilience. I even started a morning resilience routine to support my progress as I went through it.
